2019 FITNESS CHALLENGE
The 2019 Fitness Challenge is a fun not-for-profit challenge, and all of the registration fees go towards equipment, logistics and prizes! Whether you win or lose, at the end of the 60 day period, you will reap the rewards of your efforts! That being said, nothing motivates like a little healthy competition...
This event runs from January 1st, 2019 through February 28th, 2019. Participants will have the ability to compete in two categories, highest percentage of weight lost and highest work output
The weight challenge will be done by weighing yourself in the morning on January 1st and 2nd to get your starting weight and then again in the morning of February 27th and 28th. The weight portion of this challenge will be on the honor system and the requirements are that for your starting and ending weigh-ins: you weigh yourself with the same amount of clothing, on the same scale and before eating each morning. The winner will be the person who has the highest total percentage of weight lost!

For work output, we will each be receiving a Polar H10 heart rate monitor. The monitor will be synced to a group leader board and measure the amount of time you spend with your heart rate above 80% of max output. This will even things out across all fitness levels as the scoring is based on how hard you push yourself relative to your maximum ability, rather than to anyone else's. You can choose any workout you like, as long the workout doesn't interfere with wearing the monitor (sorry Jiu-Jitsu!)

The cost of entry is $100, which covers the cost the heart rate monitor and the $100 prize per category winner. You will of course get to keep your monitor for future use as well. Follow the link below for more information and to register and select your monitor strap size - XS-S or M-XXL
A minimum of ten participants to join and all orders must be in by 12/21/2018, to ensure you receive your heart monitors in time.
